eekos is an international cooperative business with two principle ideas;
1 – To promote healthy sustainable lifestyles and conserve and repair natural systems
2 - To build a fair and equitable democratic business
We aim to promote sustainable practices worldwide by setting up a number of small agencies in varying countries linked together to provide sustainable services and information at a grass roots level.
By not working within a conventional business model and having co-management and co-ownership, we are not driven towards maximization of profits from our customers and are therefore able to build strong, trusting, relationships with our colleagues, members and customers.
The eekos Company "ethos" is;

At this stage we are finalising shareholding and the agency in Gambia and by the end of April we all should be equal shareholders in eekos limited.
Jamie Byrne - UK
(Shareholder)
Jamie has a degree in environmental design and is experienced in internet design and Information Technology. He provides website skills and general sustainable design assistance.
Kevin Ison - UK
(Shareholder)
Kevin Ison is the main contact and manager of the company and is based in UK. Kevin has had formal education in sub-tropical horticulture, is a carpenter and computer coder. Kevin coordinates technologies an dservices for eekos projects and customer requirements.
Ian Blandford - Australia
(Shareholder)
Ian is a plumber with practical experience in building low impact dwellings and composting toilet installations.
He provides support and assistance from Australia for any southern hemisphere dealings.
Ousman Janneh "Oscar" - Gambia
(Associate Shareholder)
Oscar has experience in building and maintenance and is currently studying electrical installation. He is the main contacat for Gambia and provides general assistance.
Ebrima Kunta "Pah" - Gambia
(Associate Shareholder)
Pah has experience in management of community projects and has tasks to administer the finances of eekos Gambia. Pah helps with coordination and finances of jobs.
Amadu Jabang - Gambia

Amadu has experience in building maintenance and building and provides building services.
Buba Touray - Gambia

Buba has experience in general building and assist in building services.
