We are currently setting up the coopertave company to replace the eekos company. Lots of red tape, but we hope to have it up and running with starting members joined by the end of this month - June 2010.

Latest news - UK - June 2010

We have returned to our roots and have leased a small block of land where we Kevin trialling local fruit and vegetable production using Permaculture principles for design. We have over 200metres of 1m high raised beds with the main aim of the season to build fertility and get ready for production next spring. You can vew the latest at the BLOG.

* PERMAULTURE CENTRE

On hold for a while, the recession has hit ourstart up funds so we are holding this off until we have the cooperative registered. We do aim to have some sort of initial introduction classeds this coming holiday season - September 2010.

* TILIKANDEE BUNGALOOS (Tropical Ecohouses)

We have had a number of enquiries, but none as yet have led to work.



We are getting a number of enquiries about building eco houses in Gambia. So we are currently putting together some plans and information,

* EEKOS WATER SERVICES

Lamboy (Lamin Jatta) has been organising for a Belgium charity to finish the bore that eekos started. He even made the internet news! See also text here.
Well done to Lamboy, showing his ability to organise and manage for the benefit of others.
We have had a number of enquiries for water hole boring and Ousman has the equipment ready for quick start when the orders start.
